Yes, he is certainly a hero. He did what was right, despite a bunch of petty corporate "rules" and "concerns about possible liability issues". And yes - I think our country could really benefit from losing a few corporate bureaucrats, a$$hole "managers" and ambulance-chasing lawyers.
