Does this sound like a spider or bug bite or something else?

Question

Two days I felt like something bit my foot but didn't think too much of it because I didn't see anything and after a even after a few hours there was no swelling or anything. Well today I start walking and that foot is in mortal pain every time I step down and it's just getting increasingly worse as if someone has jabbed a knitting needle in it. Where I felt the bite there is a little red mark and it's a little swollen and only has one mark. Any idea of what it could be and if it is an insect or spider what sort of spider or insect it is. I'm in Georgia if that helps. Thanks in advance

Look closely to find if there are two fang marks. That usually is a good indicator of spider bite. Sider bites are  actually rare, because there is nothing a spider needs with a human. Did you   put your shoe on without shaking it out. Cool nights, and a spider will climb into something like a shoe. Being that you're in Georgia, it very well could be a fire ant bite. They grab you with mandibles, sting you, then spray the wound with formic acid. This increases pain and swelling. Since your foot bears weight, it will swell. Use peroxide on it, and if the outer area starts to look nasty, maybe black with a pitted center, it COULD be brown recluse and you will need medical attention. If it is a wolf spider or two-lined ground spider, it will just be sre for a few days. If this had been a Black Widow, your abdominal area would have been in excruciating pain. Since this is almost summer, I'll guess fire ant bite rather than wasp. Clean it and watch for symptoms.

Sounds a lot like a skin abscess.(boil) If your whole foot is swollen and maybe discolored, it might even be gout.
Unfortunately, no one can determine the source of injuries, they can only diagnose your current condition.(they have no more idea than you do)
You might soak your foot in HOT water. The little red mark may come to a head (like a bad pimple) and rupture, draining the pus. (good sign) if it drains at all, you should also use a topical antibiotic.

i'm having a guess it somewhat is bedbugs. Spiders do no longer come again for seconds. Any time a spider bites you, it somewhat is probable with the aid of fact you have been squishing it. in any different case, they don't have lots motivation to bite something as super as someone. some form of blood feeding pest is lots lots greater probably.
