Who pays less than 15% in federal income taxes?

I have been to the statistical portion of the IRS website. The average percent of taxes paid for all incomes is 12.8%.

For every category under $200,000 the average is less than 15%. For every category under $100,000 the average is less than 10%.

So what beef do most of you have with Romney?

As you admitted, it's the "average" of these lower incomes - not all! Seems the poor pay little or nothing, much like the super-wealthy, and the middle-class takes the brunt of the higher-than-fifteen percent taxation. That's not right!

Both your statements that "for every category under..." are simply false, and wouldn't even make sense to the lay person who gives a little thought. Just so happens, I've studied taxation and socioeconomic class for years and could see right through it.

I have no beef with Romney, but if Warren Buffett wants to return us our money through the paying of higher taxes, I'm all for it, as long as he puts the names of all the homebuyers he stole it from on each payment.

My beef with Romney is that when he ran against Kennedy for the senate race, he tried to outflank him from the left.

Trying to be left of Kennedy is something that kind of disqualifies someone from getting my support.

Gee, that's odd. My CPA told me I am paying an effective tax rate of 35%. I think you're confused.
