LG Optimus V, got no internet, Got a replacement phone, still no internet?

Question

I did everything they recommended, redid the MSID. Now they say i need a different phone.  I get internet through my wi-fi but not on it's own.

in basic terms a heads up for you. i'm probably going to bypass to the wildfire. it is have been given gingerbread 2.3 android application it fairly is a plus. I truthfully have the optimus v now and that's a neat little telephone yet yet freezes continuously or perhaps in specific circumstances restarts on an identical time because it sounds like. additionally htc experience is remarkable i admire the setup lol.
