What would you do in this situation?
I went for a walk tonight with my fella and whilst we were out, we were approached by a guy who offered us money and asked us to go into the local supermarket and asked us to purchase some alcohol for him. We both apologised and said we would not. The guy looked really sad and cold. There was a female standing nearby who seemed to be with him. I felt so guilty saying no but felt that it probably was best that I didn't. I now keep looking back on the situation and wishing I could have done something to help. What would you do in this situation?

i would have not bought the alcohol, but i would have offered food or water. if u purchased him a drink it would harm him and he can benefit from eating food if he is hungry.

well, if he asked you to buy the BOOZE, he must have been underage, and you would have been in contravention of the age/drinks laws, and liable for a £1000 fine, or he was barred from licensed premises for causing some sort of trouble and could not buy the drink for himself? either way, whatever you done you would have been in trouble.

He would get drunk and get arrested then you see him on the news. You did the right thing. Who knows if he was drunk/ harmful

why would you just assume he would get arrested!!!? how narrow minded! Why couldn't he go into the shop himself?
I would buy it if he asked nicely and had the money...
