There is a ton of great deals out right now because of the economy. You can pretty much go anytime and it will be cheaper than it typically is. No one is traveling. Typically, the summer months are the "off" months in Vegas, thus being the cheapest time to go with the best deals to bring people in. But keep in mind, this is the off season for Vegas because every day is 100 degrees plus. While you might save some money, you might end up being miserable. Especially if you're doing a lot of sightseeing. or a lot of walking, which people usually do in Vegas. When I go, I always go in October. It's another slower season because there are no school breaks, it's a low point for convention season, and the fall is notorious for just being a slow time of year anywhere. Maybe because people take their vacations over the summer instead. The weather is always perfect - high 70's, low 80's - and the crowds are minimal.
