They said "somewhere between 9am and 3pm" but you JUST KNOW it'll be five to three when the doorbell goes!!!! Why is that? Why don't they just say - we'll be there about 3? That way you could actually go and do things in the morning instead of sitting in and watching rubbish tv!

And that's when they even bother turning up at all.
If you've ever requested an engineer (several times) from nPower to come and fix the gas meter then you'll know what I'm talking about.
