I talk to my self all the time..?

Why do I always talk to myself? I'm not really having conversations but I think out loud all the time. If I don't think aloud then I can't memorize what I just said or dunno what I was gonna do later on.

Is this normal? I have like real difficulties concentrating and focusing on something I don't like to do or have to do. I like cleaning, and cooking and making videos, stuff that's easy to focus on.

What's wrong with me? I don't have a big family and live with my mom and I'm always alone, and when I was little nobody would listen to me..

From what you've said this doesn't sound like a big deal. Lots of people talk to themselves, in their heads or out loud. Also keep in mind that people learn in many different ways--whether by sight, vision, or hands-on. If you find it easier to memorize or remember things by hearing them out loud, you probably learn best by hearing someone saying it, even if it's yourself.

Difficulties concentrating and focusing on things we don't like to do is just human nature. However, if you find it so difficult that it negatively affects your life so much (i.e. your school grades or work performance suffer) then you might want to consider seeing a therapist. It could be possible that you have ADD or ADHD.

I'm sorry what was that? We weren't listening.

NAAAAH - just kidding. I'm an adult, and I talk to myself at times. If you start arguing with yourself you've got a problem. Just don't spend all your time alone - it sounds like it was a response to lack of attention when you were young. Go have fun with some friends!

P.S. We all have trouble focusing on things we don't want to do.

Maybe you don't remember things easily. Maybe cause of your childhood you talked to yourself, and haven't grown out of it ?

I some times do it to remind myself, or because I'm bored.

When he is angry or worried, my husband talks to himself, too. I dont really know what the reason is... But it has some good points. I hear from himself what he really thinks when we fight.

This is normal. What would be abnormal is to have arguments with yourself -- and lose them.
