Lip ring piercing, yes or no?

The hole is going to be the same size as a piercing, so yes your Mom will notice.

It call take anywhere from 2 months to a YEAR to fully heal properly. I had to leave mine in for close to two years before it could stay out for longer than two hours.

Also, don't put in the clear plastic retainers until it's healed.. Every person I've seen put the retainers in when they're not fully healed has had it embed. One of my friends had to have her retainers surgically removed at the hospital because she had them in for a shift at work.

And last thing.. Izzy, you're a moron. If you're still living under your parents roof, you're not cool enough to rebel against them. That's just LIFE.

You can't be constantly taking a lip piercing in and out like that while it's new. You'd pretty much be guaranteeing yourself a massive infection. And yes, when you remove a piercing there is still a hole and yes, your mother is going to notice a hole in your face, not to mention at 17 you need parental permission to even get pierced.

Well you'd have to wait around six weeks for it to heal so you can change it, but after that leaving it out for a couple of hours it would close up, so my advice is to get a clear one for work and around your mom, it's less noticable.
