What do yo do as a Walmart overnight stocker?

Its pretty simple, just take things from the back room and stock the shelves with it. There really isn't any thing more to it than that.

Hey EASye - be nice! An overnight stocker is a very important job. Walmart is truly one of my most favorite stores <3. If it wasn't for overnight stockers, the place would be terrible! I would imagine that overnight stocking is hard work (exspecially with the holidays coming) However, I have also heard workers while waiting in line about how they played football in the isles. This should be something you ask during your interview. Good luck

Orientation is what you have to do before you start the job. Apparently you got hired. Orientation is ususlly about 1 to 2 hours depending on the company, You will watch safety videos and probably a company video and then a tour around your store. You will be filling and stocking meat and frozen foods. Most of Walmarts meats come in frozen. You will need to learn what needs filling and where to locate it. Bring along warm clothes and gloves as the freezers are cold when you are in there getting product out. Work smart, not hard.. Good Luck!!

The bulk of your time is spent stocking items that just came in off the nightly deleveries-opening the boxes and stocking the shelves with the items, putting backstock in the back room, breaking down the cardboard, baling it and usually facing / zoning the shelves for roughly your last hour of the day. The areas you stock will shift from night to night depending on how heavy the freight is in various areas. You may be involved in special projects depending on the needs of the store each night too. It's always something different but again, most of your night will be emptying boxes to fill the shelves.

Not do you just stock it in the shelves, but you also have to face the products from the whole entire store. Not just you, but also your co-workers, assuming that there are more people working other than yourself.
