Child taken away from US Soldier. What to do?

contact you JAG Office immediately. they will walk you though what she will need to do to get him back. the problem you are going to run into is going to be the father has shared custody with the mother. there fore he has the right to be with his son. the US is probably not going to be able to just let him come back over too you. chances are you are going to have to have her go back to the U.S and appeal for full custody. what will be nice is the fact that he took her son with out her permission back to the states. that will look bad on the custody hearing. talk to the JAG they will be able to help you out.

Start with a Lawyer. She would have to seek an order from a Judge to have any chance of making him bring the kid back to Germany. If he has full custody of the child and she only has visitation then there isn't much she can do besides get on a plane when it's her time to visit.
