Can you make a tomato sauce if you have passata but nothing else?

Can you make a decent tasting pasta sauce if you only have passata but no chopped tomatoes or anything else to put into the sauce? Is there a way to stretch it or make it nice tasting with oil, spices, sugar or anything else?

yes, finely chop an on ion and fry it in olive oil till it goes golden. Tip in the passata and a crushed garlic clove and some herbes de provence or basil if you've got them. Add freshly ground black pepper. Cook till it reduces by about a third, then add salt to taste. Once it's done you can add whatever you like to it - ham, mushrooms, seafood, cooked chicken . . .

Well my dad loves having microwaved chicken. Although it sounds ordianry it is actually very nice! My dad makes it extra spicy but you can put mild and tasty sauces on it to make it delicious. Also, prawns and tomatoes are a really nice combination. You just put a tin of tomatoes in a bowl, peel some prawns and stick it in the microwave. Add some basil to it and you have a really nice light dinner. I hope these couple of suggestions work and your husband likes them! Before I go I have just come up with another idea that is delicious. If you have a slowcooker you should make a stew and it will last for days. You can heat it easily in the microwave (only thing is if you add potatoes they might not be very hot).

Sausage casserole 1 packet of sausages 1 packet of passata (sieved Italian tomatoes) salt, pepper, herbs to taste If you like it you can add a sliced chorizo sausage Just put the ingredients into a casserole, put in the oven and leave for 40 mins. Microwaves really well. serve with crusty bread. Basically anything with a sauce seems to microwave pretty well. I also use a steamer - they are about £20 I keep a stock of foil parcels (fish or chicken with herbs / butter/ seasoning) in the freezer and put them in the bottom of the steamer with veg on top. 20 mins later i have a cooked meal.

sweat chopped onions in a little olive oil

    add sliced mushrooms

    basil and oregano

    worcester sauce

    passata

bring to the boil and simmer gently to meld the flavours - delicious served over pasta.

I always use passata to make tomato based sauces as my daughter doesn't like "lumpy tomatoes" she is only 5

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://biturl.im/aUB2k

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

Vegetable is not only a technological term, it is a cooking term. So the qualifications as a vegetable are not very coherent, which is why we have cases like the tomato: people argue both ways.
