What's something you've lent to someone and never gotten back?
I've lent out a number of books to people I never saw again (teachers, my sister's ex, etc). And they were good books :(

I loaned out an advanced organic chemistry book to my niece because she wanted something to read, and never got it back. Of course I never looked at it since I graduated college. She's pretty weird to want to read that for fun.
I also loaned $5 to a guy from work (he was actually my boss), but he left and moved to Ireland and never paid me back.

lol- yeah, I stopped lending books because people never give them back. Also, I dont lend clothes or money.
