My laptop wouldn't turn on a few days ago, I tried using 2 different chargers, the charge indicator light doesn't come on, laptop still won't turn on. I took it to a well reviewed computer shop- guy checked it out and says the motherboard is fried, he says this is common for hp-dv series laptops. Does this sound reasonable? He didn't charge me for the diagnosis. Do you think I should take it somewhere else for a second opinion or just buy a new one?

Does anyone know if Joann's sells size 8/o seed beads in their stores? I cant remeber if Ive gotten them there before, for some reason I thought they only had 6/o.

Im going to Rocky Point for Super Bowl weekend, I just bought a car and have a temporary plate. Is this a problem for getting Mexican Car Insurance?

I relate a lot to the characteristics of my sun and moon sign and have found them pretty accurate for other people I know, and Ive read some Horoscopes that seem spot on.

I have to admit I am kind of skeptical, I dont really understand how the placement of stars and planets can effect us in such ways.

What makes you believe that astrology is accurate? Have you had any experiences that helped you trust it?

I remember seeing a movie when I was a kid about a rural school in Australia, some guys in duck masks came and kidnapped the kids or something, they had to walk across the desert and into a cave or something.

Does anyone remember the name of it?

There was a kid's book that the female characters all wore bandanas and had overly enlarged noses...it was kind of russian/gypsy inspired? it may have been a series?

I just buoght a 2000 Ford Ranger XLT. When I start the vehicle there is a beeping noise that beeps a series of three, five times, then it stops, and then about half an hour later it does it again. The only info I could find online said it might be something with the air bag? Has anyone had this problem or know what it may be? Thanks in advance!

I dated a guy a few times about a year ago, we had a great time, we hopped in the sack a few times. I realized I wasent really that attracted to him, and we went into friendship mode. We have some mutual friends, so we hang out a few times a month, we always have a lot of fun, we have the same sense of humor. he likes to go camping and we have gone mountain biking, its been a while since Ive found a guy that likes that sort of stuff. we even have some of the same long term goals. He recently told me that he cant be friends because he wants more, and its torturing him.

I would just like to know if someone has had a similar situation and what you did. Am I just being shallow? Would the sexual attraction happen eventually because we connect so well in every other area? Would you have regretted it later if you didnt do it?

Im currently receiving education benefits through the VA (chptr35), I ve finished all the classes I need for my Associates at the community college, but Im not ready to transfer to University. Will they cover some extra elective classes at the community college for next semester, since they wont technically be for my degree, just extra credits?

Would anyone like to attempt to sum up Cuban politics in a few sentences? Nothing "in depth", just a general un-biased view of the situation. Im getting stuck in the details, I just need some good general key points.
