Hi is there any paneer expert here ?

How to make smooth and soft paneer. I know some paneer recipes but i usually buy paneer and cook dishes with it. Can anyone suggest me how to make it(paneer) ?? No links please. I'm looking at experienced answerers. Thanks all.

    see u have to buy real good paneer lebon, amul, are good brands. Then paneer hasnt to be cooked much it is the last thing u add after cooking the masala & to served immediately reheating also hardens it. Home made paneer is good but u may not get even cubes as in packed paneer. Keep in mind deep frying also burns up the paneer and hardens it.

    While all the three are correct, you need measures.

    Boil half gallon of milk until it froths and foams and comes all the way to the top. Switch off heat.

    1. take 1/3 cup of vinegar and add hot /warm water to make it a cup.

    Add to the milk and stir. Whey will separate and paneer flakes out.

    Filter in a muslin cloth/ cheese cloth. Keep under a heavy pot of water

    to remove the water. then hang it to drip the water out for 4 hours.

    you can now press it down like a loaf. freeze it for 4 hours to use.

    2. Use ricotta cheese from store and remove water just as above.

    cut into cubes and fry.

    3. Instead of vinegar , add store bought whole butter milk approximately 1/4 gallon.

    take a ltr of milk boil it when it starts boiling add lemon,if lime is not there then add vinegar abt a tsp and then it stars curdling when the water of the milk comes up that means paneer is ready run this paneer under cold water and strain the excess water and paneer is ready.when u get paneer from outside u can make it soft by first frying it and then putting in the water ur dish can be really grt and u will get soft paneer

    Take milk and mix some extracted lemon to it. Milk will get separated from water. Put the separated thick material in a clean white cloth and let the remaining water be drained well. Now keep some weight over it and make it flat. keep it in freezer for atleast 4 hrs. Now Paneer is ready for making any dish.

    its very simple

    1. boil milk

    2. add 3 -4 drops of lemon juice while u see milk started boilin

    3. then turn off

    4. pour the thick content into a thin clothe so that all the water goes of

    5. keep aside with a weight above so that u may get the panneer flatened.

    6. store in refrigrator

    7. slice it when its to be cooked

    take some milk.....keep it on flame.. and when it start boiling put some lemon in it. after some time sieve it through a cloth and keep it under weight.
