Has any one ever been murdered in the name of Atheism? ?
Tune in tomorrow for the answer
Atheistic Communist regimes have slaughtered 100 million people. In China, 72 million murdered; Soviet Union, 20 million; Africa, 1.7 million; Cambodia 2.3 million; North Korea, 2 million; Afghanistan, 1.5 million; Vietnam, 1 million; Eastern Europe, 1 million; Latin America, 150,000. Unfortunately, the full implication of atheistic belief will not be seen until the day of judgment, when those who ignore God's mercy by professing atheism will lose their most precious possession, their very life...eternal

Stalin
Lenin
Mao
Pol pot
etc.
The Soviet Union was the first state to have as an ideological objective the elimination of religion. Toward that end, the Communist regime confiscated church property, ridiculed religion, harassed believers, and propagated atheism in the schools. Actions toward particular religions, however, were determined by State interests, and most organized religions were never outlawed. It is estimated that some 20 million Christians (17 million Orthodox 3 million Roman catholic) died or were interned in gulags.[64] Some actions against Orthodox priests and believers along with execution included torture being sent to prison camps, labour camps or mental hospitals.[46][65] The result of this militant atheism was to transform the Church into a persecuted and martyred Church. In the first five years after the Bolshevik revolution, 28 bishops and 1,200 priests were executed.[66]

No one has ever engaged in the act of murder for the sole purpose of furthering or advancing an atheist cause, agenda or for atheism in a broad sense.
Many people are answering that leaders like Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot killed those who were religiously devout in order to advance atheism in their respective cultures. However, this is inaccurate. The aforementioned leaders wanted to do two things: a) make their citizens dependent on the State for everything, including moral and ethical beliefs and b) ensure that all political power rested with the State. Religious communities tend to draw their morals and ethics from their respective faiths and tend to view their religious leaders-priests, rabbis, monks, etc.-as community leaders, thus giving them a measure of political power. Men like Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot would not allow this, thus they issued "official" decrees that stated religion was all superstitious nonsense and that only the State could provide the answers, leadership and comfort that the people needed. To this end they indeed kill many who would not renounce their religious faith, but these were simply acts of what essentially amounts to political assassinations. While it is true that the aforementioned did indeed hope that citizens would embrace atheism, this was only hoped for as this would force a greater dependence on the State, thus increasing the State's political and economic power.
In addition, those who point to people like Stalin and Pol Pot as 'atheist murderers' fail to realize that none of these leaders ever outlawed religion or made the practice of it illegal. Again, this was a political decision, but if these leaders were really all about killing off the religious and advancing atheism, why omit that step?

Atheism is an define of a perception stance, no longer a doctrine, so that's impossible to homicide everyone interior the call of atheism. it is to no longer say that atheists do no longer specifically circumstances homicide people, however the inducement won't manage to be atheism from now on than it is because of the fact of having a moustache. To homicide somebody 'interior the call of' calls for some style of doctrine or reason.

Yes, Madalyn Murray O'Hair was murdered by a fellow Atheist, possibly over the running of the Atheist group she had formed.
Hitler, in MEIN KAMPF, stated: "Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord." Not the words of an Atheist.
True, Stalin, Pot, and others that have been mentioned were Atheists, but the murders were committed inthe name of Communism and in a grab for power. Calling the murders they are responsible for murders for atheism is not exactly true.

Probably. There are murderers in all walks of life who kill for all causes. As for Atheists killing people? Most likely. But they'll likely say God told them to so they go to an institution rather than Death Row.

Yes! Look at the works of Stalin (killed 50 million), Lenin, Hitler (killed 6 million), Mao Tse-Tung, Pol Pot, and every other communist dictator of the last century. All their policies were based on Marxist doctrine. Marxism was the base philosophy for modern atheism.

Apparently some people aren't smart enough to tell the difference between atheism and communism.
Bryan, you are a complete idiot.

billions have died from a bad case of
grace (life) + law (death) going around
there's 8 million ways law kills people,
and being an atheist is just one of such,
as atheists give place to law's death sting
