Glutinous Rice Flour?
I want to make tang yuan for my friends, but I have a friend who's allergic to whey, wheat, and gluten. Would the glutinous rice flour be dangerous for him or is it okay?
If you don't know, please don't make up an answer. I really don't want my friend to have an allergic reaction.

It depends on what brand of rice you use. Some "enriched" rices use a coating that will have a coating. I know that S&W is gluten free, but other brands that you buy like Uncle Bens and that kind might not be. You will be pretty safe buying real "chinese" rice like botan, calrose, or nishiki. Double check to see they aren't coated and always wash your rice (just to get rid of dust).
