Thinking about a new car?

Question

I am thinking about doing my part to support the auto industry and buying a new car. 
I have a price range around $50,000.  I want a manual transmission convertible, preferably with a V8.  I am 6'3" and am looking for a fun car during spring/summer.  
I just bought a new truck last week, and am now looking for a car.
I would appreciate any suggestions, I am currently leaning toward the new Mustang GT500 or Saleen.

The 50k is just the cash I am willing to drop, I am willing to make payments after that if I have to.

If I were you, I'd wait until next Spring and buy the new Camaro. But if you're a Mustang person, they're cool too.

i would suggest the Mustang Bullit edition if you must get one right now.  If you are willing to wait lets say a few months, the new 2010 mustang is coming out and so are the new shelbys and they are very very very nice.  the Dodge challenger is also coming out with a new version also and that car is also very very nice.
