Why are there not separate sections for religious and atheism? Aren't they completely different?

Yes they are complete opposition of each other so yes you should have a vote I'm with you as well on this

First you'll ask that the atheists be given their own section because we disagree with you. Then it will be the Muslims who should have a separate section. Then the pagans. Then the Mormons. Then Catholics (or Protestants.) Then the other denominations. Then the other branches of your denomination.

I was part of a group that kicked the atheists out in the interest of harmony. It took less than a week for them to get into vicious arguments about interpretation of scripture.

Jains, Buddhists, particular Hindus, Taoists and others who have not got any theory indoors the existence of God yet prepare spirituality are religious/ religious atheists. Be clean bearing directly to to the definition of Atheism. Atheism only potential 'no theory indoors the existence of any God or Deities'. An Atheist is loose to have faith in diverse stuff which includes rebirth, soul, metaphysics, and so on. regardless of the undeniable fact that, optimal western Atheists (referred to as good Atheists) do now no longer have faith in them the two.

I am agains seperating this forum. Are you that closeminded that you are uncapable of handling educated discussions about atheism, your religion and the other religions that meet here? Are you only focused on talking to like minded individuals and not getting to know the people you share this earth with?

You don't have to be here. You can find a christian only forum elsewhere. The less close minded we have here the more we accomplish.

No they are opposite not different. Where else could we tell you how silly you are. How do you propose keeping us locked out. Why not try praying to God that we wont come to the religious section. Oh you have already tried that.

You, know, I agree... I think it would make it MORE interesting... because (as if it isn't already obvious) they wouldn't have anything to talk about on their section, so they'd all still be over on our section! Complaining that we're talking about too much spiritual stuff over here & telling us that we're a dying breed us believers, and that we are all up in their business imposing our views on them... lol

But seriously, they want us to believe like them, the politicians want us to believe like them, the scientists want us to believe like them, the other religions want us to believe like them, What a country, lets all believe like Atheists and unite... Oh, wait a sec... humans who have religion are united... monkeys & Gorillas are territorial & un-united. Well, aren't we glad we live in the free world.

Atheist can be religion such as Buddhism. As long as the religion doesn't possess a God and to separate the two would cause conflict. Each side would be easily targets by religious dogma or disbelief...

why? in the end either the religious nuts would go to the atheist section to try and "save" some people or atheists would go over to the religious section because its boring. the end product is just confusing.

Y!A would gladly shoot down your vote. Spirituality means questions of matters that involve God and spiritual ideas. Which includes denying God and spiritual ideas.

There are many different kinds of spirituality, and "none" is a type of spirituality.

Atheism is a stance on religion. Yahoo is never going to separate them....this is one of their main drawing areas.
