What color do born-blind people see? Also do they have dreams while sleeping? ?
If they have dreams, what image they see? I will appreciate your answers.
Thanks for answering y'all but I am still waiting for more answers who know more in detail, preferrably from a person who is born-blind. I am just very curious about how born-blind ppl percept about everything and beauty.

There is no way to actually know. Why? Because they have no color to compare it to because they cannot see. People who have turned blind after seeing say that they do not see black; they just do not see. But this could be a false analogy because these are different circumstances. But try this, cover one eye with your hand. Do you see black out of that eye? No, you just do not see, period. I would assume they dream. Dreaming is not just visual; it is auditory, taste, and touch associated. So yes they may dream. They may even dream in sight, if the reason they can see is an optic nerve problem. Not the sight we know of though. It would be something along the lines of streaming colors, polka-dots, what have you. This is, because born blind people have no visual understanding of the world, like the shape of objects. So it would be random patterns of shapes(more like blobs), something of what a person with synesthesia would see if they had a visual interpretation of sound. (see science.discovery.com for more info on synesthesia.) Synesthesia is basically when senses get mixed. Why such curiosity?

Well, it is hard to do, but yes. I dream. I am blind from birth. I use a second sight if you will to interact. I am a rare blind, Hemeralopic. I have almost no vision when exposed to light. I see using a sort of resolocation. As an object vibrates, it sends out what is called a resonation, which acts like a sort of metadata, and depending on resonation size, I get texture, shape, and colors. It has required eleven or so years of no sight at all, and then a really important discovery to do so. I have perfected the tactic. There go, I have had some visual dreams. I haven't been able to dream in some time, but it is possible.

I read somewhere, that they dream in smells, feelings, sounds and tastes.
I read about a dream a blind man had and he heard a man shooting a gun at him, and felt the bullets hit is body.
