I am going into the engineering field and I need a computer with windows on it. I already have a personal computer, a macbook, so this one would strictly be for schoolwork. I need it to be relatively inexpensive, but I also want to get a computer that will last me for 4+ years. Any ideas?

My grandmother's dog has recently died at the age of 14. She has has the dog since he was a puppy. I know that she is going to go downward if she doesn't get another companion, as I am the only one in the family that talks to her, and I am away at college. She has been talking about ragdoll cats for so long. She absolutely loves them; however, we are not able to afford a $1000+ cat. Luckily, a friend of mine has kittens that are half ragdoll that I can get for free and the kitten looks just like if it were full blood. My only problem is: I need to give her time to morn his death. I'm not sure how long that should be. Thank you all so much for your help.

I am 18 years old but still in high school. My parents want to pull me out of my high school, but my grandmother is more than willing to pay my tuition. As the situation stands, I would have to go live with her to continue to go to the school. Are there any legal attachments that I have to my parents because I am still in school or are there any repercussions or consequences that I might face?

Here's the thing, I go to a boarding school, and my parents are pulling me out because 1. I told them I was gay and 2. I do not share their Christian belief. It has nothing to do with me not wanting to obey, and all to do with me wanting to be myself. My grandma is on my side and accepts me for who I am, and she knows that it is in my best interest to continue at my current school. I hope that helps you to know I am not being ignorant in this decision.

The reason they want to pull me out is because the school is "brainwashing" me by telling me to gather many resources and make an educated decision. They think that you should just believe because someone told you to. And the school embraces the difference in people. Gay, straight, Hindi, Christian, Buddhist, Islam, Bahai all people are accepted. Because of that, I am not told to not be gay or non-Christian there.

I'm am seventeen years old and I am having black outs. I do not go unconcious but my vision just disappears for a while when I have been bending over to work in the garden or something then standing back up. I am not sure what the problem is, but I checked my blood sugar it was 98 and I checked my blood pressure and the reading was 130 / 60. I checked the BP chart for a seventeen year old and the maximum for systolic was 120 and the minimum for diastolic 73. I wonder if my high and low BP may have something to do with the Blackouts. I am Full Gospel and I fasted in a 30 Hour Famine to raise money to end Childhood Hunger. I felt closer to God when I did. Can you tell me of some scriptures that say this about fasting?

Last weekend I participated in the 30 Hour Famine where you completely fast for 30 hours to help out with childhood starvation. When I got done I noticed how much closer to God I had become. Can you please give me some other different types of fast that do not require you to give up all food because I want to do this long term so I cannot just become annerexic.

Okay, I have grown up in south Louisiana and Mardi Gras has a bad rep. Tell me what you think Mardi Gras is about.

I love Britain even though I've never been there. It's almost like a calling for me to go to Cambridge, England and study there. I'm American, but I find myself talking in an English accent. Not as a mockery though, I do it because I love the elegance of how English was spoken. Can you tell me something about it? Okay so I watch Monty Python and other British comedies and ever since I was really little I could do a British accent. Well, now I find myself randomly going into a British accent in normal conversation. Which that is not really a problem, but it is starting to happen in class at school. Thats not a problem too much either. But what if I accedentally talk British when it would be really inappropriate; i need help to un-practice my accent that way it does not randomly pop up.

Okay so to atheist logistics always rule. Right? So, simply stating, if God and Jesus are real (and they are), I will go to heaven because I am a Christian, an atheist will not because they do not believe in Them. If they do not exist then neither of us will go to Heaven because it would not exist. So, logically, would it not be the better decision to believe in a god because that would cover your front and your rear. So the worst thing that could happen to an atheist if his beliefs were true is the same thing that happens to a Christian. But if a Christian's belief is true then what happens to the atheist is infinitely worse that what happens to a Christian. Sorta like a "if you stay on the 3rd floor of a burning building you will die, but jumping off you could die" scenario. No malicious answers are needed and for that matter desired so please answer with intellegence and not foolishness. Thank you and God Bless.
