i have a 7 months old beagle girl,and every time the house door is open she runs out and just runs,what to do?

You can try opening the door, with her on a leash standing in front of the door. Everytime she tries to run, spank her or whatever. Thats what I do with my dogs.

In order to keep an animal from running out the door can be difficult, depending on how obedient your dog is. It may be hard because, on instinct the animal wants to go outside, animals are meant to be outside. The way i train my cats can also work with dogs. After my cat has escaped i will go and find her and when i do i will scruff her(hold her by the skin on her neck) this also works on some light dogs, no more than 10lb. Holding by the back of their neck is very uncomfortable, not becaus it hurts buut because it gives the animal a sense of powerlessness. I will then hold her as sucj until i get back to the house, when i get back to door, ill put her on the ground(still scruffing) and shout NO!!! loudly. Since my cat does every once and a while, she will imediatlly run into the bathroom, ill follower her and close the door and her. Where she will sit for an hour or two depending on how far away from the house she ran, and maybe how ticked-off i was(lol).

A kind off cruel way that i dont advise often unless stratedy #1 dosent work, would be investing in device that consists of a shocking collar, there are a couple of sensors that you set up as an invisible "fence". When your dog goes past the "fence" it will engage the shocking collar. I have never used this method before and never will, so i dont know if it works. I did one time think about making an electric fence to keep my cats from jumping over(lol)

Since she's under a year old, she could still be trained to get out of this habit, but it might take a while considering it's a beagle.

When you go towards a door, tell her to stay. If she runs to the door when you open it, give her a bop on the nose. It's that simple and it doesn't hurt the dog.

Put up a baby gate between your door, so if it's opened she can't get out. Make a run out of clothesline that comes into your home to let her off. Train your dog, walk it around the perimeter of your yard with you on the outside and her on the inside, and do it every day. Invest in invisible fencing to save your dogs life. Beagles were trained to hunt. They run after their prey until their prey can't run anymore. They are a very high energy dog that needs to run. Get your girl fixed if she isn't, because she''ll go and get pregnant her first heat.Be a responsible pet owner or lose her to the dangers in the big bad world.

If you weren't prepared for that you shouldn't have gotten a Beagle!! Sorry, but that is what they are bred to do! They are one breed that you'll have a real hard time getting to stick around off leash. We have an underground (invisible fence) and it keeps all 4 of our dogs from wandering. It's about the only thing we found to keep our Beagle home.

Train her!!!

Teach her how to stay and tell her to when the door opens. Until you're sure she will obey the command, keep her on a leash so she can't get anywhere when it opens anyways.

train her to sit and stay and next time maybe she does that because she wants to play with her toy sometimes my dogs like to do that because they arn't getting enough attenion or something . try to try it and maybe spend more time with it
