I have a friend who is in her mid twenties. She has had a tragic past but she seemed to have coped with it. Now she is distancing herself from her best friends and I'm not even sure how her relationship with her girlfriend is doing. I am worried about her. She tried to commit suicide once before and she said she recently took 8 excedrin extra strength and I am not sure if she is just wanting attention (we kinda stopped being friends a while back) or if she is really serious. I don't really see her actually going through with it but you never know and I do not want to lose her or even risk it. Any advice would be great?

I got bit by something on my wrist, and then twice on my upper arm. The bites on my upper arm swelled and there was a large pink area around it. The bite on my wrist is swollen to the size of a quarter and it has little bumps all over it. It is very red and has clear junk coming out of it. I have been putting vaseline and salt on it as recommended by a friend but it hasnt helped so I am wondering if I should be worried or if this is the type of bug bite that certain bugs do. I dnt have insurance so I dnt want to go to the doctor if it isn't a big deal. Oh and it itches and hurts sometimes. I am mainly worried about the bite on my wrist because the other bites are better (for the majority). Help?

I want to buy a book for my twin cousins. I am looking for ideas for a children's book about twins that they would love when they get older. Any ideas would be great! I am preferring one about a boy and a girl twin. Something cute so I can take a scene from the book and paint it on their bedroom wall.

My nephew is three years old. He use to be great about sleeping by himself for a nap or just for bedtime. He shares a room with his two year old brother but they sleep in different beds. He doesn't watch scary movies or anything but he is scared to sleep by himself. Suddenly he refuses to go to sleep or even lay down unless someone is right next to him. I dnt know why he is suddenly so scared but what can I do to help him? Any ideas???

I need to get tested for depression. Do I go to a regular doctor, or does it have to be a therapist? I am not sure who I should go to. My mother isn't any help because she is afraid I will be depressed. She thinks the meds they give me will make me suicidal. Anyways, I just want to know who to go to.

It would be even better if they gave me a number so that my friends can send me pics to a number instead of an e-mail. I hope that doesn't sound confusing. I want an app like the TextFree app that lets people with an iPod send and receive texts and they give you an 828 number so your friends can send texts to that number which is yours. I want something like that except with pictures instead of texts. Please help me!

My friend says she sees blood in her urine and it hurts when she pees. She says when she does it is only a little. I told her she needs to go to the doctor but she doesn't want to. I dnt think you bleed when you have a urinary tract infection. So what could this be?

My mom's left forearm is swollen. Okay, this is extremely important! I am in college and had to get Microsoft Office 2007 for one of my classes. I live at home so I had to put it on my parent's computer. My dad installed it but in the process it deleted ALL of our files: pictures, videos, favorites, music, etc. I have so many important pictures on there. Is there ANY way I can restore all of that? Please help me!

My puppy has these abrasions under his arms (like his armpits). They are like open sores and he even has a small spot under his neck. I thought they were from his harness, but he stopped wearing it and he's still getting the abrasions. It's not serious, because with neosporin it goes away within a few days. Any advice? Can anyone guess what this may be?

He's not my kid. He's my nephew. His mother (single mom) gave him a sippy cup instead of getting him off the pacifier. So he runs around with the cup in his mouth and it's starting to ruin his teeth. He will have the cup in his mouth without drinkng it. Any tips on how to get him off it? Also, any tips on potty training him? They tried giving hima treat when he goes to the potty but he makes himself go. He won't tell us when he has to go. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

My friend and her husband claim that somewhere in the Bible, there are unforgivable sins. Not blasphemy/denying God, but sins like murder and homosexuality. I've grown up in a Christian school and I've always heard that besides denying God, God will forgive you no matter what you do. I mean, how can God be a merciful God if he only is merciful towards certain sins?! It doesn't make sense! What I'm asking is what you think and if you agree with them, tell me what verses support the idea of more than one unforgivable sin.

I have a pure-bred chihuahua puppy. His name is Hershey. My mom's dog had him and I chose to keep him. I have a sister named Rose and I'm scared Hershey's gonna bond with her instead of me. She already has done that twice to my mom's dogs. I want a dog that bonds to me since small dogs only bond to one person. How do I get Hershey to bond wih me instead of her? I try to spend extra time with him and pet him more than his brothers but it seems like he likes Rose better. What do I do?
