I have a friend who just got a DUI over the weekend and was involved in an accident which was his fault. There were no injuries at the time of the accident. I know what the penalties are since I have gotten a DUI before a long time ago. Just to affirm mikeysco's answer (he gets best answer): there are no increased penalties for a DUI with an accident which does NOT involve injuries, but he WILL be required to make restitution. If HIS insurance company pays, that will be sufficient (but some insurance contracts won't pay if the driver was DUI). If the other party's insurance company pays, he can be required to pay anyway.
BTW, you may be surprised at the penalties, which have increased since you were convicted a long time ago. For example, the fine will be around $1,482.
