China's Decision to Switch the Little Girls Singing in the Opening Ceremony?
What is your take on China's Decision to have a prettier girl lip sync for a girl with the better voice but to the China's ruling Communist Party politburo she was not attractive enough. What does that do to the poor girls self esteem as shes growing up? She's only 7! And I've seen the girl which is supposedly not attractive....she is cute as well.

I am a Chinese, and I can tell you without any doubts that this event sucks!! However not the whole opening!!
Not only me, lots of Chinese now are communicating through BBS for this. Even though the director does not dare to reveal the truth.
There are 2 different opinions now.
Most of us are infuriated by our so-called great director, and we are accusing him now however not directly.
It is ridiculous to depends on appearance!! What's more the man who sings together with Sarah is also not handsome at all!
We just interprets that the girl who perform has strong relationship... Anyway, that is how entertainment works!! Unfair for the real singer and a lose of all our morality！
We are now looking forward to see what's gonna happen...

before anybody starts critisizing china i've got the real story
little girl #2 (the one who wasn't chosen) wasn't not chosen because of her looks it was because she had stage fright. altho she had the best voice she was too scared to sing in front of that many ppl...so they went with the little girl #1 who was extremely experienced as she had sang in front of millions b4 ...IT WAS NOT BECAUSE OF THE GIRLS TEETH!

oh surprise surprise, americans AGAIN trying to dig up some dirt! ugh, just makes my hatred of america and americans even stronger! i am not the only one! china does what china wants, get used to living the eastern world from now on! the west is on the slide!
besides what if the 'ugly' girl was shy and scared to perform in front of such a big audience and they wanted her beautiful singing in some way! god u americans have no respect for other humans do u?

maybe its their way of giving both girl a chance to participate in the opening.. every culture has different ethical views.

At least they didn't throw her into the river as a baby like most ugly girls in China.
