Time stop?
Every time I watch a movie, show, or even playing a game...That has to do with stopping time, I always find myself wondering...
If it is indeed possible to stop time, wouldn't everything be completely still? Wouldn't that mean that it would be absolute zero? And that If everything is absolutely still, wouldn't that mean that photons would be immobile? Unable to reach your eyes...producing absolute darkness as well...?
Also, this could correlate to going faster an approaching the speed of light, wouldn't it?
As in going faster and faster results in everything else becoming slower...?
Would that mean that it would get colder and darker as you moved closer to the speed of light?
Zen: I know you can't I'm just speaking hypothetically...
Chris: Ok, wouldn't the photons relative to you seem to be slowing down? Wouldn't that mean it would get darker...?

Chris: Ok, wouldn't the photons relative to you seem to be slowing down? Wouldn't that mean it would get darker...for you?

They've already slowed photons down to less than 1mph.
You cannot stop time. You can't stop events from happening.

Time is relative. Time would only stop for the moving body RELATIVE TO YOU. This means that time ticks normally for the moving body, but if you saw a watch on the moving body, it wouldn't tick at all (assuming its moving at light speed).

Your question begs the rhetorical question: If you could stop time, how long would you stop it for (given no time exist if it stopped)?
The answer is that if you could stop time, and start it again, you would never know.
Maybe it happened just now!
