another question about abortion?

Abortion at any stage is murder. That child can not control the circumstances that brought it into this world. There are so many people that want children, that can't have children. Adoption should be the only option. Anything else is selfishness!!!!

First, it must be recognized that a living individual, which starts at conception, is composed of body, soul and spirit. (I Thessalonians 5:23). There can be no life from the sperm and egg, unless the soul and spirit are present the moment conception produces a new life. The soul and spirit are the life of the body. James 2:26 tells us, “For as the body WITHOUT THE SPIRIT is dead...”. The spirit is the seat of our intelligence and understanding (I Corinthians 2:11). The soul is the seat of our emotions and appetites. For example: our soul rejoices (Isaiah 61:10); our soul lusteth (Deuteronomy 12:15); the soul has desires (I Samuel 2:16); it sorrows (Mark 14:34); it can hate (II Samuel 5:8), and etc.

We never find where the soul and spirit are ever divided. At conception, when life begins, the soul and spirit develop as they are connected with the body in the womb and on through after birth. God said in Genesis 2:7, “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

No doctor or neurologist has ever been able to find and observe the soul and spirit of an individual. They do know the different functions that the physical matter, called the brain, perform. What they do not know is how the soul and spirit controls the brain matter, as the brain is only dead tissue--unless the spirit of life is in the body.

In Psalm 139:14 we are told, “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made:” Since “the body without the spirit is dead”; therefore, conception could not produce life unless the spirit is present. Life begins at conception; therefore abortion is nothing more than First Degree Murder in the eyes of God!

God never remitted the physical consequences of sin (Romans 3:23); but, did remit the eternal consequences, that being Hell. In John 3:16, God exhibited his love for the sinner. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him (Christ) should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Yes, I have. Mine and my wifes. Abortion is murder and should be outlawed. No situation, under no circumstances, not ever, for any reason should abortion be permitted. Dr. C. Everett Koop, who was Ronald Reagan's Surgeon General, stated that in 30 years of medical practice, he had never heard of a "necessary" abortion to save the life of the mother. If you want to cut down on teen pregnancy, outlaw abortion. Roe v Wade is bad law. No one has the "right" to do wrong.

What if I SHOOT a pregnant woman in the womb while she is walking into an abortion clinic to get an abortion? And all I "kill" is her "fetus"? Is this murder on MY part?

Abortion is ALWAYS MURDER, it is NEVER THE RIGHT THING TO DO. The court who said it is OK is the same court who declared that Mr. Dred Scott was a piece of property, not a human being. Their saying so made Mr. Scott no less human, and unborn babies are NO LESS HUMAN just because of some silly law. It is high time to rid our nation of this IDOL WORSHIP.

One of the most beautiful things I have seen was the first ultrasound of my daughter. Seeing it brought a joy unto my heart. Seeing the shape of a human being created by God through my wife and myself. Now (today she is 8 weeks old) when I hold her, I think back to that first time and I am in amazement. God has blessed my family with an awesome responsiblity to raise our baby with His guidance. This is how I view my daughter: God has lent her to me for twenty years or so to raise her in a manner He sees fit. Though she will always be my daughter, she will be in God's hands after that.

Have you ever seen a woman on a slab in a morgue after attempting to abort herself because she lived in a country where abortion was illegal? You wouldn't believe the human body contained that much blood. Been there, seen it.

Have you ever seen a teenage girl dangling at the end of a rope because she was too afraid to tell her religious parents she was pregnant and had nowhere else to go for help? A friend (a policeman) has.

Have you ever spent time in an institution where malformed and damaged children drool and twitch their pitiful lives away because their mothers chose not to abort a fetus they were told might be seriously impaired? My sister works in such a place.

Religionists who claim "abortion is murder" should read their own religious texts. The bible states quite clearly that a baby is not alive until it has drawn its first breath.

A heart is just contracting muscle. The fact that it contracts before the mother knows it's there is irrelevent. Individual muscle cells will contract in a test tube, that doesn't mean that flushing down the toilet is murder.

The important thing about abortion is that every woman must be allowed to make a free and informed choice without being subjected to biased religionist propaganda and pressure. If she's reached the point of even considering an abortion then what she needs is consideration and help; not being made to feel like a criminal by a bunch of extremist do-gooders most of whom have never found themselves in even a remotely similar situation.

Your question is vague and indescript. When a woman initially finds out she is pregnant, then yes, it is still a clump of cells. If a woman chooses to have an abortion this early there is no baby. Legs and hands and lungs and a heart (as well as all the other organs including a BRAIN) do not form until about 6 weeks. It is an opinion of mine, but after two months, when there is actually a baby then I think that is unfair and wrong, but that is my opinion, not law. I have actually seen an unltrasound of a fetus at 6 weeks and it is a tiny 2 mm egg with a blob of tissue in the center.

If it is so alive, then let it live outside the womb. That can't happen, now can it? There really is no logical way you can say that a non-independent being is an independent being. And if the mother left it alone after birth, then someone else could keep it alive. If a fetus is removed from the womb at the stage when abortions are performed, there is no power on earth that could even keep it alive, let alone allow it to become a human being.

Anyone who is contemplating an abortion fully knows what is going on, and the decision is not made lightly. But even though a fetus is clearly a human being from conception on, that cannot give it unlimited rights as against those of the mother, who would have to ingest an additional 50,000 calories to bring the fetus to term, and be responsible for its care and upkeep for years afterward. Questions have appeared in this forum from pregnant girls as young as 11 years old; are these people really capable of being mothers?

You are acting as though women who get abortions decide to do so very casually.

I would assume most abortions are sought because the woman can't handle the pressure of pregnancy, psychologically and or physically and or economically.

It's that simple.

You then say: Well they shouldn't have blah blah blah then.

True BUT many of us have said, done and promised stuff in the arms of passion and or made mistakes.

It's amazing what the cold light of the morning reveals.

I wouldn't be surprised even that some blokes promised eternal devotion but once the deed was done ran of to another conquest.

just, Monday I was at the hospital cafeteria and a lady asked if she could join me, I said sure, so she asked me why i was here, I told her I had a ct scan, and i asked her why she was here and she said i here for an abortion, I was really shocked because I have fertility issues, and I was hurt at the same time, so of course I gave her the Word and I hope and prayed that she changed her mind, but she knew that it was wrong, she was 31 yrs old with 4 children and pregnant by a married man!

I think abortion is morally wrong. I would never even consider it an option.

That said, I'm still pro-choice. My personal beliefs shouldn't dictate the rights of millions of other women. Ever.
