where can i buy white worcestershire sauce? Thank-you.?

Buy the Lea & Perrins for Chicken. This is the white version. It has a green label at my grocery store.

White Worcestershire Sauce

Very odd, I lived in an Alaskan town with a population of 2500 and never had a problem finding white worcestershire sauce. We used it to bake salmon.

I'm from southern Missouri, down near the Bootheel, and I know what you mean about the sauces being too bland and too sweet. What I do is take something like one of the Sweet Baby Ray brand's mildly spicy offerings and add cider vinegar, sweet Hungarian paprika, chili powder, onion and garlic salt, and a small dollop of honey. All of this is to taste, so you're going to have to experiment until it comes out the way you want it. Start by adding a small amount of each to the sauce and let it simmer, then taste it. Keep adding until you get the flavor you like. The cider vinegar cuts the sweetness and the "ketchup" taste, the chili powder and and paprika add 'zing,' and the honey blends everything until it's nice and mellow.

Oh, I love this product but most people don't know how to use it or even know that it exists. I have found this right next to the regular worchestershire sauce in some upscale stores in larger cities..........and if you can't get it at your local grocery store, you can find it on-line................Happy Cooking to you!
