    I'm thinking maybe you mean grilled, not barbecued, I cant imagine walleye with bbq sauce, so here is a grilled recipe

    FOILED WALLEYE FILLETS

    4 lb. walleye fillets

    1 tsp. butter per fillet

    Lemon pepper

    Salt

    Slice of onion per fillet

    Slice of tomato per fillet

    Lightly grease foil to wrap individual fillets. Place washed and dried fillet on greased foil. Add pat of butter, onion, tomato and season to taste. Lemon pepper is a must. Seal foil and grill or broil 7-8 minutes on each side for average size fillets. Great served with new potatoes and a fresh cooked vegetable.

  • Walleye Recipe (BBQ) :

    * 2 lb. walleye fillets, cut in cubes for skewering

    * sweet red, green and yellow peppers, cut for skewering

    * small whole onions, cut in half

    * 2 tbs soy sauce

    * 2 tbs teriyaki sauce

    * 1 tbs liquid honey

    * 1 tbs wok sauce

    * 1 tbs cajun hot fish spices

    * 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce

    * salt and pepper to taste

    Mix the last seven ingredients well. Mix the walleye, peppers and onions. Lay in a deep plate and cover with the sauce mixture. Marinate in the fridge overnight.

    When ready to bbq, put fish, peppers, and onion on skewers. Make sure they are well pressed against each other, keeping in mind that the fish cubes will reduce in size while cooking. I suggest alternating the peppers for an appealing look.

    ---------------Grilled Walleye

    INGREDIENTS:

    * 12 oz walleye fillets

    * 1/4 cup pecans, chopped and toasted

    * 2 tablespoons butter

    * 1 teaspoon fresh chives, chopped

    * 1 teaspoon orange juice

    * salt and pepper to taste

    PREPARATION:

    Combine butter, chives, juice and half the pecans in a small bowl and mix well. Preheat grill. Take a 12 inch square piece of aluminum foil and cut 2 inch slits into it every two inches. Spray with a nonstick spray and place on grill.

    Put the Walleye Fillets on the foil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and grill for 8-12 minutes. The fillets are done when the fish flakes easily with a fork. One minute before the fish is done top with the pecan butter. Remove from heat and sprinkle the remaining pecan pieces over top before serving.
