Data protection act - imformation please...?
I rent my house out for a while through an agency while I travelled. Once I'd given notice to reclaim my house the agency became very agressive, they really stirred things with the tennant, after the tennant left (6 months later) they actually passed on my private email address to them. I'm sure this is against the data protection act, is it? And if it is how do I report them?

Try talking to trading standards if you are in the UK they will advise you on what action you can take...or just see a solicitor

Contact the Information Commissioners Office they deal with breaches of the Data Protection Act 1998

yes definatly. They shouldnt have done that and i completely sympathise with you.
They are not allowed to give out your personal information.
Go on these links and get the agency reported.

yes this is against the law go and speak to a solicitor they will be able to help you
