Deeper feelings for a friend of same sex: Are you instantly gay?

Yeah, I mean what's stopping us from loving any sex. Sexuality and love should be completely seperate. I mean people who love eachother have sex sure, but you don't love because you have sex, and you don't have sex because you love. Hell rape is just a expressiong of hatred, where you climax. But are hate and sex connected, NO. So I wouldn't think that you were secretly gay, to love another man isn't gay, to love another man's penis is gay.

You walk a fine line here. Friendships between those in the same sex are common. Deeper feelings beyond normal friendships tend to get "tagged" as gay. However, it depends on if you attractiveness toward the same sex is exclusive of the other. If that is the case, then you would be gay. I'm straight and I believe that love between people is a wonderful thing. No strings, no conditions.

I love my best friend to death. I think she is just a beautiful human being inside and out. We went through a lot together in middle school. One day everyone in school just decided that they hated me and she was the only one who stuck up for me so they all decided it would be a good idea to hate her to. We just kinda clung to each other and we have been close ever since. That was in 7th grade, we are 20&19 now. We love each other like sisters and I don't see anything wrong with that. I never for one second thought that I was gay because I have a really good friend, and that fact that you do makes me wonder if maybe you are.

ok to all you ignorant *** holes up there calling this individual gay just because he has couple thoughts about being with another of the same sex your wrong. Even if he really did these things he wouldnt be. Your gay when you choose to live the life style of just only being with men if your a man or a woman if you are a woman. So if you have a few homosexual moments in your life it does not automatically make you a drag queen doodoo chaser fag dyke or carpet muncher. It doesnt so take your ignorance and shove it up your ***.

It's called Brotherly Love.

Of course it is normal. It doesn't make you immediately gay. Check into the Kinsey scale.
