G6PD is an enzyme blood deficiency and it seems that many American Doctors don't seem to know how to treat individuals with this deficiency when they get sick. They prescribe medicines that have side affect that can make the person get nerve damage, quick drops in temperatures or hemalytic anemia. They tell you stay away from sulfa based drugs but it is more than that. Sometimes the medicine they give is worse that the problem. How come there isn't any American medicines formulated for people with this problem in the first place?

Where can you find information in America about this disorder that has as much info as in, say Italy's medical associations?

My house is old and I have little to no money to help keep it standing. I see grants for rural repair but not city brick dwellings.

My cat, Princess is over 15 years old and is fixed. I'm on a pension and don't have money for my own doctors bills, let alone expensive cat treatments and therapy. Is there a home remedy that can restore my Princess's skin and hair.

Her skin is supple, smooth but looks like she has dandruff. She hides all of the time and I can only manage to bathe her once a year in palmolive with a little olive oil, she is truly hard to catch. Her skin looks better afterward, but I know that I stressed her giving her the bath.

Her hair is down to the undercoat everywhere except her face. I'm not intentionally trying to be cruel to my cat. What should I do?
