I'm living in Seoul until September. I don't really know anyone here so I kind of want to go out to the bars one night in an effort to meet people. I'm not yet 21, so I've never been able to go a bar in the States, but I'm of age here. I can speak the language enough to get by, but I'm not fluent. I'm also kind of shy.

So, would it be weird to go out to the bars by myself? I'm not really sure what the etiquette is ... do I just go in and sit at the bar by myself and hope someone sits next to me?

Sorry, this is kind of a stupid question I guess, but I'm not sure if I'd be the staple awkward foreigner or if it'd be weird. Anyone have any experiences they can share?

Any recommendations for places I should go or things I should do? I'll be living there all of this summer. I've studied Korean for 2 years, so language shouldn't be too much of a problem.
