Many people on this site seem to think that an object has to be spinning before it can have a gravitational effect. I am curious where they get this (obviously false) idea. Where is the educational system going wrong?

If I claim that an invisible unicorn exists in my room, why do you disbelieve? What does it take for something to exist? Don't use words like 'to be, is' or other conjugations of the word 'exist' since that is simply circular.

If I get a large sum of money, and want to put it into a stock index fund, is it better to put it all in at one time or to use dollar cost averaging over a period of time? If the latter, what period of time?
