I used to get birthday spankings when I was younger and just wondered were they given anymore. At home mom would put me over her knee and spank me with her hand over my dress (I always dressed up on my birthday) then in elementary school the teacher would give a birthday spanking with her paddle.

My mom spanked me when I was growing up (until I was 18 years old). I am now 32 and finding myself in need of discipline in my life. I am wondering if I should ask my mom to spank me like she did when I was growing up. If mom agrees to spank me, how hard should I expect to be spanked? Should I ask for bare bottom or be allowed to keep my clothes on? Mom always spanked me over clothes with a wooden paddle growing up. Should I ask her to spank hard enough to make me cry?

I have some bad habits that I need to change, and spankings are the only form of discipline that has ever worked for me. I have been lucky and found someone willing to help me change some of my behavior. I am debating whether or not ask to be spanked hard enough so that I cry from the spanking. Or am I too old to be getting spanked, even if it works for me?
