I would like to ask if any of you know about facilities for Physics in French universities? Are the facilities as good as in the UK? what about the quality of teaching? Is there a big difference? I know I would have to study in French obviously, but other than that, could you tell me the main differences, advantages and disadvantages of studying in France or the UK?

For this I have to sit the PAT test (physics aptitude test) on the 2nd of November.

I am currently following the IB Diploma with Higher Level Physics and Maths.

Can anyone give me advice on how to study for the PAT?

I have the French passport, but I do not live in France, I live in Dubai. I've never lived in Europe... and I am doing the IB diploma. When I apply to UK universities, will I be considered as an EU student or International student?

Hi, I just bought the sims 2. I tried to install it on my laptop, but after 1% of install, I got a message saying that it was unable to copy the support file.... I have no idea what to do. We tried to install it on another computer to see if it would work and it did, so I don't think it is a problem with the CD.... any ideas?

I heard that the Nuclear blast in Japan created clouds of radioactive material that can travel to other countries and if it rains it would be dangerous. Does anyone know where the cloud is? I live in Dubai. and there are huge, unusual clouds forming/approaching. Apparently they were traveling against the wind. Could this be the cloud from the Japan nuclear blast? If yes, what are the risks if it rains on us?

I am an IB student with physics, math and chemistry at a higher level. I really love physics and I think that I would like to have a career in researching, or working with interesting things such as the hadron collider... My question is; how hard is it to get a good career in physics after graduating? Is a PhD needed to have a good job? What kinds of careers can I have if I study physics?

I am half-French. I would like to study medicine, and am thinking of going to study in France. I am aware of how hard it is to study in France, especially the first year. I have 12 IGCSE's with an A* in Physics and Biology, and an A in Chemistry, and I am in my first year of the IB Diploma Program with Physics, Math and Chemistry at Higher Level. Do I need to complete my IB Diploma to be accepted in a French University as a medical student, or can I go with just my IGCSE's and one year of IB?

I would like to experiment with the everyman cycle, but I have to be awake between 7a.m and 4p.m. Is there any way of doing it?

I am looking for the name of two TV series I used to watch when I was younger...

One was about an old man, who sat in a chair and he told "magical" stories to a bunch of kids... and then the rest of the episode would be the story narrated by him... and I think most of the time, the hero of the story would be one of the kids listening to the story.

The second one was about a young man... 20-30 years old, who traveled around the world, and I think there were also "magical" things happening where he went... I remember that at the start, there was always so music, and we could see him climbing a green mountain.

Hi... I am a 16 year old who loves making movies... but have no ideas.. My cousins, sisters and I would like to make a short movie of 5-10min this summer, in total, we are 5, ages 16,13,13,10 and 9, but I am not going to act... Can anyone suggest any ideas or stories we could make this about?
