I remember from childhood that this is part of the Methodist statement of faith. When I asked my dad about it, he didn't have an answer. If Methodists believe in the Holy Roman Catholic church, why are they Methodists instead of Catholics? What, precisely, do they believe about RCC?

My loved one has been incarcerated since 1980 and is anticipating a parole hearing this summer. On Monday, the parole inspector called me and said that unless I am able to secure employment on his behalf within this week, he will not be seriously considered for release. I contacted the prison chaplain to ask about re-entry ministries and he told me to call Workforce Florida. Workforce Florida said to call 211 Info. 211 said to call Workforce Florida. The Bureau of Inmate Transitions provides no re-entry services. All they do is meet and discuss what they plan to do within 5 years in order to be in compliance with the federal governments 2nd Chance Act. This is the government you pay for, busy passing the buck in a circle. This has been my plea since Monday: Is there any Central Florida employer who is willing to commit to employing a man who has been in prison for 29 years without knowing when or if he will ever be available for employment? I know it is ridiculous, but this is the position the state has put me in. I am trying to move a mountain. Anyone have a mustard seed to spare?

My son recently worked with some Orthodox Jews who were here on vacation. The check they gave him bounced and they have not made good on it. I know it is not right by their law not to pay a man his wages. What can he do? Does he have to take them to civil court?

That any person of any faith or no faith at all would commit such a vile act is sickening. But why does the Catholic church continue to allow and protect the filth within the church who are doing this stuff? How and why do Catholics stay in the church with this still going on?
