How do I find a job in the US from Italy? Would companies help me relocate?

I would like to leave Italy next year, and  move to the US  and work as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer, but I don t have money to move.

How should I proceed, is it enough for me to apply on online job offers and wait for a company that is available in helping me relocate?

The Department of Labor has listings for companies that are authorized to Sponsor. Start there.

You need the equivalent of at least a Bachelor's degree and a job offer from a company that can + will sponsor you for a work visa.  It is up to you to apply for jobs.

Not only is it "enough" to apply for vetted US jobs online but it's the only real way to do it unless you're in the position to receive and intra-corporate transfer. Of course there are no guarantees as there are far more wanting these jobs than there are jobs and visas available. But if you have the right degrees and job experience you'll have to be persistent. I know someone from India, PhD level software engineer, who applied for jobs for 12 years before finding the right position at the right time. The US only issues a finite number of H1B visas every year so you likely won't get one the first time an employer tries.
