Brother? Epson? Canon? HP?
Best laser printer? Mainly for a home business, I heard that they all stop the printer when the ink is 20%. Which one is the best? Also great if I can print from my mobile phone.

I like HP. HP has the best warranty. I had a Brother. It wasn't bad but my HP is better. Both are lasers. The HP ink cartridge lasts longer.

I've found Lexmark to be best.
They do colour laser printers relatively cheap and the running costs are a fraction of those of a typical inkjet.

I have the HP P1005 laser printer, 10 years or more now, on second toner unit. No problems. But it was incredibly cheap because it only prints. No scanner, no brain inside it. Has to be run only from a computer. But small, prints B&W very well.
My Brother MFC-8480DN laser printer is fine for everything--prints, scans, copies, faxes. B&W only, had it 8 years, second toner unit
My Konica Minolta B&W laser printer is just fine also.
On any of these, an image drum replacement is very costly. Might as well get a new printer.

they don't "stop the printer". what happens is, when you use cheap refilled or generic toner cartridges to save money, the percentage is no longer accurate, so it starts to look bad before reaching 0%.
if you buy brand name toner, you won't have that problem.

I only use HP lasers and they're excellent, even with compatible refills.
My mono laser is an old HP Laserjet 1022 someone gave me (free) about ten years ago because he couldn't find a driver to run it with Windows 7. I use MX Linux and it always works even with MX 18.3 dated 2019!
