Mimosa tree seeds. help I can't seem to get a tree?
I cannot seem to get these to grow. I have tried digging up little seedlings and they with up and die after transplanting so I thought I'd try my hand at germinating seeds into peat pots, but I've never had much luck. Please don't redirect me to other sites. I want to know if you've had trouble doing this and then found a way to actually get a grown tree out of this. Somewhere n the transplanting phase I'm doing something wrong
I can't seem to get it from a little weak seedling to the strong trunk small young tree. should they be potbound, always damp or dry out between watering?

Trees put down a taproot almost immediately when they begin to grow, and their feeder roots need to spread. If you want to transplant your seedling you'll need to plant the seeds in deep pots so that you can transplant the entire root system enclosed in soil so that you don't damage the roots.
