What is my risk of type 2 diabetes?

I drink approximately 1-2 liters of energy drinks a day, eat fairly unhealthily and probably drink too much, but as part of my job I walk 15-20 miles a day and lift around 10-20 tons a day

    This is a question you should be asking your doctor. There are no outward visible symptoms of diabetes (until it's too late). The fact that you don't eat health is the reason you need the 1-2 liters of energy drinks. Like many people, you mistakenly think doing some healthy things will offset the unhealthy things. Being thin or active does not make you immune to diabetes.

    The exercise might help you, but be aware type 2 diabetes is a long term chronic disease that can take 10 years to manifest itself.

    I honestly believe that exercise helps off set diabetes but of course, everything catches up eventually, I think that consuming too much sugar and caffeine in general puts you a high risk. Don't feel bad, I'm working on the same thing. I'm actually going to try quitting coffee and sweets cold turkey tomorrow. You could try starting tomorrow too :)

    Diet usually is not a risk for diabetes/ so no way to predict a risk
