Atheist: Are You a Humanist, or a Nihilist?

I suppose I lean more towards Humanism, but I really don't apply any philosophical labels to myself at all, other than "pragmatist" (if you consider that a philosophical position).

Neither extreme seems rational to me.

If you are a Freemason you would be Chrsitian and atheists are barred from freemasonry so why LIE?

Why are Chrsitians so ignorant of what nihilist means?

NIHILISM: Complete denial of all established authority and institutions.

The opposite of atheism which supports education, science and runs most institutions!

I am a Scorpio.

I'll admit it, I'm a Nihilist. Everything decays, all things men have ever done or said will be forgotten, a brief flicker of light in the endless void of space. I'm not much fun at parties.

Not a nihilist, humanist would be a close description.

I suppose I adhere to more of the humanist philosophies (I just looked them up) but I have never labeled myself as a humanist. I've always considered myself an idealist and an amateur scientist.

I'm a nationalist.

I don't label myself at all.

I don't believe that a god exists.
