You don't have to be shy about it. These things happen all the time. They are lucky to have you part time and they know it. So just talk it over and have an attitude where you are HELPING them. Show that you want to be HELPFUL to them. They will admire you for this attitude. Once you are again working part time for them always show up to work ON TIME. Don't sluff off. Be responsible and show that you really care about doing a great job for them. You will then have TWO jobs and it is up to you to show how dependable you are. And have fun with this whole thing.
