taxes: dems vs reps?
I understand we pay more in taxes with a dem president and pay less with a rep. Not my question. I was wondering if government workers like cops, fire fighters, teachers, make more with a dem president when people pay more in and if they make less if a rep is collecting less taxes? Or does that absolutely nothing to do with it?
Thanks in advance

Bureaucrat pay doesn't fluctuate with administrations. Taxes paid in don't always reflect payroll costs.
What does change is funding, which means layoffs. Republicans tend to cut programs which fund education at all levels, and federal funding for firefighters, cops, etc... So when you elect a Republican governor, who is antagonistic towards education, such as Kansas, teachers flee the state looking for work. The same thing happens when they gut public university spending. When you elect a federal Republican, expect him to support his own pork, but ideologically be against funding additional cops for large cities.
There are exceptions. Bush's expansion of homeland security for instance pushed a lot of money into local law enforcement.
Then there is the military bureaucracy. Our soldiers are now better paid (including benefit packages) then any other time in our country's history. Now this isn't so much a result of ideology, but a direct result of fighting two wars with an all volunteer force.

Reps are looking out for their own money. Dems are looking at the community's money as a whole.

Not necessarily. It's usually up to individual counties, precincts, and municipalities how to spend money. Sometimes more funding can mean higher pay or bonuses, but usually that is not the case. More funding usually means hiring more cops, firefighters, and medics, or spending on newer vehicles, better weapons, better IT infrastructure, and so on.

No, not in the least. Democrat-initiated tax hikes are used to add new programs to the federal budget, not redistribute tax revenue directly to government employees or pay down the deficit.

In 2009, Obama signed the biggest tax cut in U.S. history via stimulus bill.
which the Republicans voted against.
FACT
not only that, but the Republicans tried to take credit for it.
they went back to their home districts posing in photos holding giant stimulus checks.

Republicans strongly opposed the 9/11 first responders bill because it costed them more taxes.
What do you think?

Not really, because alot of the money which I personally think is dumb, just goes towards the Military rather than other part such as education. Which explains why alot of schools are poor.
