For Christians that believe in hell: why did God create humans?
Assuming that hell is eternal torture, why did God create humans which he knew would be tortured for eternity?
From a humanistic standpoint, I have two very different interpretations:
1) A programmer's prospective. There are "good" and "bad" programs. "Good" programs live and "bad" program die. But this is not eternal torture--it's just death--lack of existence.
2) A malevolent breeder's perspective. Perhaps I breed dogs. The good ones I sell and/or nourish and the bad ones I do not kill rather I beat them for the rest of their lives. Is it moral that I abuse the "immoral" dogs for their entire lives?

Your uninformed assumptions don't matter. Hell is a hole is a grave. Check any dictionary. Everybody goes there.
The bible says in Genesis 2:15 that man was made to take care of the garden of Eden.

We are confronted daily with many options, and after careful consideration, we select what seems right, don't we?
David said: "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." Solomon said: "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction."
Unless we choose to fear God, we will never attain to true knowledge and wisdom. (Psalm 111:10); (Proverbs 1:7).
God never intended for any of us to end up in Hell. (Matthew 25:41) Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from Me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.
With your viewpoints: both your creations are deprived of a voluntary or even the possibility of choice.
Good to know you've kept your options open... How hard is it to make the right choice...?

1st of all, the place known as hell is NOT eternal; it's only a temporary holding place, whereas the Lake of Fire IS eternal............2nd - God created us to be in fellowship with He and His Son...........for the rest of your mumbo jumbo - don't know what you are babbling about, or care
