    Grammar matter do?

    Matters does grammar?

Yes, grammar is essential to ask even the simplest question.

    does, not "dose"

It always does, to some extent. Grammar is how we communicate. It does not always have to be perfect but it does always have to be understandable. If you are going to say "Yo, dat mack be da shizzle" it had better make sense to somebody. Occasionally we see questions from obvious schizophrenics that are too tortured to understand... bad grammar in action.

At the other end of the spectrum grammar is the clearest sign of who we are and how our minds work. The movie, My Fair Lady (an adaptation of George Bernard Shaw's "Pygmalion") is about an English voice teacher betting he can pass a flower girl from the street off as a noblewoman just by teaching her how to speak properly.

It did in the past and for those of social standing it always will be important.

Years ago what you learned in school were the basics and they were Reading, Writing and Arithmetic. And had a lot of spelling bees and our jobs demanded that we know English well and grammar is part of English and so is spelling. I see you don't care or else you'd have spelled "does" correctly.

As long as your grammar is correct for the dialect in which you're communicating (which isn't always Standard English, General American, or whatever the official national dialect in England is), then you're fine. I ain't gonna say you wrong if you say "ain't." (That's proper AAVE grammar, which is an American dialect that's often treated as improper or poor/uneducated speech but in fact has it's own rules that are followed by its speakers, tacit though those rules may be.)

Grammar matters me thinks because if you puts the wrong words in the wrong place then you'd be looking pretty stupids.

It's very important as poor grammar can convey the wrong message.

If you are writing prose, absolutely.

If you are writing poetry, it is a good idea but not essential.

If you are writing something like a resume, it is necessary in certain sections.

If you are writing an outline or notes for yourself, being able to understand what you meant is all that counts.

Dose does not matter but 'does' does matter.

It matters a lot in writing, but it okay to make mistakes when speaking with people in daily conversations.
