What would I need to own angelfish? Angelfish experts please help me?

I'm not a beginner aquarist, and I think I would like to try keeping angelfish. I know that they need AT LEAST 30 gallons. So my questions are:

1) what water permitters do they need?

2) how many can I keep in 30 gallons since they are a bit aggressive? what about 40 gallons? (And should I keep only females, only males, or X number of females to every Y number of males or something like that?)

3) what food can I give them? regular flakes, or something else?

4) is there a specific kind of set up they need to be happy? (Ex: dense planting/thin planting)

Any more details and tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    1. All fish require an established healthy tank, specific water values are not as important as stable water chemistry and temp

    2. Get a bigger tank if you can, everything will be better and easier. Taller and longer than a 40

    3.varied diet that includes frozen bloodworms and brineshrimp

    4. Clumps of plants with open spaces. Healthy angels are big fish.
