Why are USAmericans so used to receive free stuff?

Why are USAmericans so used to receive free stuff? And when there is a slight delay in receiving it they get so upset and frustrated, so they bomb me with several repeat emails and what they and their companies are asking is asking my time to do the work for them for their book or educational project and even to find a property overseas for them, as if i owe them something, but i have never met them, and they almost never offer me a penny to cover my minimal time & expenses. What's up with that?

Continued from above (Yahoo limits the character space unreasonably): Other countries' authors, companies, publishers and authors used to be kinder offering me some kind of credit or pay but lately they seem to want everything for free as well. Imagine me serving 100 of these every day how am I supposed to pay my bills? And I help as many of them as I can, all for free.
