What do you think of Texas legalizing pot, before liberal California?

I'm not surprised. Republicans believe in limited government while democrats are slaves to the state. The government makes far more money imprisoning people for non-violent offenses such as pot use. It's no surprise why 90% of socially liberal libertarians vote republicans. You can't pitch the argument of freedom to those who adhere to authoritarianism.

I think you smoke too much pot, otherwise you'd realize Texas didn't legalize pot.

It merely passed a committee. which means five guys said "Der yep, I guess we should vote on something like that." It is called passing the buck.

Every state should legalize pot

Never happened, and not likely to. The evangelicals in Texas are almost as powerful as the racists so the Republicans will not risk alienating their votes.

Ever since Colorado legalized marijuana their crime rate increased as well as the number of automobile accidents. I'm not in favor of it.
