Metal rings fell off my molars?

The ring on the molar fell off my braces, but I wear retainers, I don't have braces. Is it a big deal? Should I call my orthodontist? I wear metal retainers on my lower jaw, but I have plastic backups.

    You should call your orthodontist anytime something is not the way you think it should be.

    If something breaks, "falls off", is loose, or simply doesn't fit the way it did before, let your orthodontist know. They will then advise you what you need to do.
